The Parish of Effingham with Little Bookham

The Parish of Effingham with Little Bookham. We are a community of Christians in the villages of Effingham and Little Bookham who regularly meet to worship God, enjoy each other’s company and serve those around us. St Lawrence Church dates from the 12th Century at the heart of the Surrey village All Saints’ Church has been tucked away in the quiet village of Little Bookham in a spot where there has been a church for nearly 1000 years. We are ONE PARISH community worshipping in TWO locations. Our congregation worships regularly in both churches. We offer every type of service from 1662 Book of Common Prayer Holy Communion through to TGIS (Thank God it’s Sunday) contemporary services which start with a delicious breakfast and includes puppets and guitars. During the week we meet for Holy Communion on a Wednesday morning. We also encourage our younger members by meeting at Chatterbox Toddler Services, Saints Alive and Diddy Disciples. We hope that we can offer something to you too. We strive to be accessible to disabled people and will do our best to be inclusive as possible.

The Spire Church, Farnham

We are part of the United Reformed and Methodist churches, a broadly traditional church trying to be inclusive and welcoming, and more engaged with the community.  We do our best to accommodate wheelchair users, with level access throughout the ground floor (and would move an activity from upstairs room if appropriate) and a wheelchair accessible toilet.  We have loop systems in all the main rooms, for hearing aid users.  We do our best to support those with sight loss.  We are exploring how better to support people with dementia.  We host a number of 12 step groups.

All Saints, Wellington

All Saints is a lively town centre Anglican church.   We believe that we are called to be closer to Christ, and sent to be closer to others.  We value loving God, loving each other, loving our neighbours, celebrating, and exploring.   We believe that all people are created in the image of God, and so we honour and celebrate the diversity of human experience, and explore together ways in which we can welcome and love all those God brings here.
