Arrival in Kosovo

Through the Roof's Wheels for the World team are in Kosovo from the 17th June to the 26th - they'll be sending in reports and blogs as time and internet connection allow. Check back here, or Facebook for more.

 

Yesterday was a calm day of travel and a great opportunity for the group to get to know each other. We met at 7 at Gatwick (civilised by 'Wheels' standards!) to set off on our adventure. Three of us are rookies, who are feeling nervous but excited, and we have been greatly reassured by our experienced colleagues. We arrived late in Kosove to be warmly welcomed by partners, Seed including Ray, Aferdita and Luan.

This morning at the Smile guest house, our alarm clock was a cockerill and the sound of cow bells! Now its off to breakfast to find what has already become a close knit team. We are not sure what we will find today, and who will come to us for a wheelchair, but join our prayers in this as we prepare for our day.
